A great example of this was when I had misplaced a Bluetooth speaker and was told by other staff that it wasn’t at the spa. When Lucy was on, she took the extra time and care to properly check — and found it immediately. That level of attention and effort makes a real difference. She genuinely cares about members, pays close attention to detail, and ensures people feel valued and well served. We spent Valentine's Day at Merse Virginia's Valentine's event. I'm already a member and have been many times but this was extra special! We were greeted warmly with champagne and chocolates and loved all the details to make our time there special. We loved the cute cupcakes Lucie made as an extra treat too! Lucie's always so helpful and goes above and beyond every time we go! The guitar player/singer and the dim lights set a nice atmosphere. We were a little worried about how busy it might be but we shouldn't have been because it didn't feel like it had been overbooked, everything felt really organised and we all had enough space to be able to enjoy the night! We joined Merse Wellness a couple of months ago, and it has quickly become a daily ritual for my husband and me. Walking in, you are immersed in the calming scent of lime and sea salt and can instantly feel the shoulders drop. The effects of contrast therapy are having a noticeable effect on our mind, bodies and soul. Every session leaves us with a sense of calm, clarity, and confidence. A special mention to Lucie, who is always so warm and lovely to interact with, along with the team. I'd had a really bad day and visiting Merse made it 100% better. From the booking and facilities everything was perfect. I called up Tenile from the Virginia branch and she made booking an absolute breeze. When I arrived she was so thoughtful and kind. Making sure all my questions were answered and giving a wonderful overview of the facilities. Whatever she's getting paid, she should get paid more. The customer service was honestly just phenomenal. Merse Wellness Spa is such a beautifully designed space — aesthetically pleasing with a cool, thoughtful layout. The amenities are impressively clean, and the little touches like complimentary tea and apples make the experience feel extra considered. I really appreciated how well-maintained the saunas were, too. The ladies at the front desk provided great customer service and made the visit feel smooth and welcoming. Just want to congratulate the lady who was on right before closing 8th October. My wife and I signed up to a membership each and we were in a rush to jump in because i had some back pain I had to relieve. The lady on that night could not have been nicer and more professional about it. She offered to sort the membership herself whilst we had a session and politely and kindly came in to ask any questions that were relevant. Professionalism and customer service at its highest. In an age of "strict rule following" she instead prioritised customer experience and her employer (very rare the second one) to get two sales rather than think of herself and whether she was "breaking any rules" . I commend this kind of person because it is rare in not employees but people. I do apologise I dont know her name but both her and the other lady that was on was very kind and polite despite us staying right till the end. My back pain healed, it was a great session and cant want to return. A wonderful place with wonderful people. Thank you. ~ Brisbane M

I was fortunate to go off peak so it was stunning and serene.the layout is well thought through with tea, water and apples a nice touch. The change rooms and beauty station could use some more amenities compared to city cave and other Center’s. I would have liked some instruction on the compression therapy being my first time. I managed to figure out how to use on the legs only, and for people with lower back issues the bean bags could use more beans as I was in pain when I got up. Minor suggestions only here I absolutely loved my time there ~ Susie P

Decided to try out what everybody’s talking about at the Gym and go see the team at Merse. Was a little bit anxious going in at first but was soon taken away after I had the absolute pleasure speaking and being served by a young lady named Abbie. She showed me around the place and told me all I needed to know about the time I was about to spend at the Spa. Had a session the other night and it was unreal. Lucy absolutely made it. She’s welcoming, calm, and genuinely cares about how your visit goes. It’s the little things — checking in, explaining things properly, making you feel comfortable — that lift the whole experience. The facilities are top tier, super clean, and the free herbal tea selection is a great touch between rounds. Everything runs smoothly and you can properly switch off. The only thing better than the awesome facilities is the customer service. Lucy took care of me and my boyfriend at our spa session this weekend and believe me when I say that the level of care and attention to detail was unparalleled particularly from this individual! I love coming here, its so nice and it has everything you need, from the teas to lovely filtered water. However, people need to be reminded to use their inside voices when in the bath house. I had a lady literally yell in my ear, which isn't very relaxing. Maybe a gentle reminder when people arrive to be mindful that its a place of Peace and tranquility. But I highly recommend anyone who wants to relax and unwind in some magnesium goodness to come to Merse. ~ Louise D

A big shout out and thank you to Lucie and Talei at Merse Virginia this afternoon/evening. My friend and I came in and had a compression session and soak and felt very well looked after by these two ladies. It was the busiest we have ever seen it and these two ladies somehow kept the place clean and comfortable and were so attentive and calm even though they were completely and utterly outnumbered by patrons. I had a remedial Massage with Suki at Virginia. OMG it was magic. she took into account my health and pain levels. i liked how she worked with the body instead of against it causing minimal discomfort. She helped my sciatia and shoulder pain instantly. The whole massage was just magic and I highly recommend her for a therapeutic massage. Really great to have a spa like this north side now. Loved the simplicuty and services on offer here at this health spa. Interesting choice not to go with a steam room, instead two large traditional saunas. This works better for me as I follow the traditional flow of hot and cold therapies through the spa. The pools were a good size and the spa didn't feel overcrowded. I love that there are also two infrared saunas (at additional cost) and compression therapy available! Asthetics were beautiful and calming, had a bit of a 50s vibe with modern twist and soft pink throughout. Will definitly be back and plan to make it a regular occurrence. Two tiny tiny things I noticed but I have no doubt will be fixed... the locker instructions are incorrect on the wall, so they need to take those signs down till the new ones come, the poor attendant kept having to unlock lockers for people. The other thing was that the water tap says it can dispense sparkling water but that wasn't working when we were there. (like I said - tiny tiny things that really don't take away from how lovely the experience was). ~ Alex W

The spas are beautiful and luxurious and were just what I needed after a stressful week at work! It was well worth the money! I have to give a special shoutout to Lindsay who showed me through the facilities. The tour was so informative! She was so welcoming, professional and friendly. This was a great place to do some recovery ❤️‍🩹 therapy after some serious CrossFit’ing 🏋️. The place was very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful and nice to have the place to myself with towels and drinking water provided. Price was very reasonable and parking not a problem. Would recommend midday during the week if you want to enjoy the place to yourself. ~ Paul C
